Clearing Dodge Truck Codes
Locate the diagnostic scanner port. It will be situated inside the cab, underneath the dash on the driver's side on the Auto code scanner.

Insert the diagnostic code scanner's cable in to the diagnostic port in your vehicle.

Insert the key in to the ignition and turn it to the run position. Do not start the engine.

Using the instructions provided with the diagnostic code scanner, have the scanner search the engine computer for trouble codes.

When the scanner is finished, Press the button on the scanner labeled "clear trouble codes".

Disconnect the diagnostic code scanner from the Auto code scanners.
